Quanti BMW M5 E34 in Italia? (English)

Update M5 register

Hello again,

I counted how many cars that are known of the 3.8L and came to this:

723 cars have been found since the international register started in Nov. of 2008.

Of those 723, the following have been wrecked:
Sweden = 83
Germany = 8
Norway = 6
Latvia = 1
U.S.A. = 1

Of those 723, the following have been stolen:
Russia = 26
Sweden = 7

The number for Germany is of course far from all cars. An estimation would be 350-400 cars there including the wrecked ones. Also France and Italy, way too little to show any good statistics. Help is needed with these countries. Maybe someone can check with the department of motor vehicles? VIN is needed, license plate not interesting.

Italy only 13. I think there should be more, or are very many wrecked? Is there a way to check it?

Can you advise me of a site where I might see M5 3.8 for sale? I am actually looking for one. Hopefully something with damaged engine because I have a spare engine.

I tried subito.it but there are only two there.

 

It looks a bit sad yes. Spoiler lip is missning also. I think the price is too high, even with a Racing Dynamics engine. The leather dashboard is nice though. It should be a German import since it has manual climate control. All Italian spec M5s were sold with automatic climate control.

Probably many cars left Italy already. I see a handful were exported to Russia in the late 90s, where they of course got stolen
