Quanti BMW M5 E34 in Italia? (English)

    Hello,

    Could there be any owners of the E34 M5 3.8 or M5 touring in here?

    Sorry for not writing in Italian (I do understand some but I am not good enough to write something).

    We (M5 E34 Club - located in Sweden) are running some international projects on our homepage that might interest some of you.

    Colours for all E34 M5s (how many built in each colour):

    Then there is this bigger project to see how many still alive today. The M5 is as you may know, a very rare car. Compared to the E30 M3 there are only half as many E34 M5s built!
    Not so many are known in Italy (20 as of today), but quite a few were sold new (about 150 3.8s limos and about 50 of the touring):

    Can anyone with a 3,8 or touring help with the VIN-number (last seven digits is enough - no other info needed) for these projects (links below)? Would be great.
    A login name is needed to read the detailed pages (model-years). Registration is of course free! All VINs, colour of each car and production date of every M5 3.8 and touring are listed in these sections:

    Hi, actually i don't own any M5 e34 more, but i still know that 2 of my ex are still alive and running strong.
    One is gd63163, the other BL 01912 (elekta edition).

    I have just seen an advertisement which is very interesting for you and also for us.

    I would buy that car to keep it for all my life.

    If I will know more about others M5 I will let you know.

    The elekta edition was assembled for distribution in Italy,
    only 20 M5 touring and all were made in 1995!=D>

    Place where to park it, and annual tax...#-o

    and especially, it is a touring (very bad) has the 6 speed gearbox and long legged rear axle (very, very bad)

    uh, that's a pity.
    Anyway the touring is the E34 I like the most 8-[:mrgreen:

    Does the Fasolini sign remember you something? Maybe!? :mrgreen:

    It was a twin of mine... but i will get another e34, but 4 door sedan, 5 speed, avus or daytona full leather and 91 or 92.

    Buongiorno everybody,

    Thank you for your interesting replies! Yes, I know about the Elekta-cars. Here is a printout from the members section of the touring-register:

    Those are the 20 VIN-numbers used for the Elekta. As you can see there have been a few exports, even to the USA! But probably there are many still left in Italy which we have not seen yet.

    I know that this car, http://www.autoscout24.de/Details.aspx?id=ly3n4kohwpqg is GD63485. I will check the touring that pierbmw linked to. Thanks for the tip!

    I have added GD63163 also (thanks). BL01912 was known from before.
    @batmobile: you dont happen to have any photos of the Elekta? I love that interior and colour combination!!

    The GD 63163 is Diamantschwartz, extended nappa leather Black, power memory heated seats, Bavaria c professional rds, cd changer, nuerburgring package, additional heating (now removed), Hi Fi system, tempomat, DWA, Hedlamp wash, Electronic climate system with AUC, added anti theft med and dome bar.

    Se non sbaglio la versione elekta è stata richiesta dalla BMW Italia,
    e solo per il mercato italiano.

    La M5 E34 è forse l'ultima delle M serie,
    dopo, con l'avvento dei controlli ed altro si è perso molto della concezione di questo tipo di auto
