    Dal barbiere:

    Una mattina un fiorista andò dal barbiere per un taglio di capelli. Alla fine, chiese il conto, ma il barbiere rispose: "non posso accettare denaro da lei, questa settimana sto facendo servizio alla comunità". Il fiorista ringraziò delle gentilezza e uscì. E il mattino successivo il barbiere trovò un biglietto di ringraziamento e una dozzina di rose alla porta del suo negozio.

    Più tardi un poliziotto entrò a farsi tagliare i capelli e quando chiese di pagare il barbiere disse anche a lui: "non posso accettare denaro da lei, questa settimana sto facendo servizio alla comunità". Il poliziotto ne fu felice e il mattino successivo il barbiere trovò un biglietto di ringraziamento e una dozzina di ciambelle alla porta del suo negozio.

    Venne quindi un Membro del Parlamento per il taglio dei capelli e quando passò alla cassa, anche a lui il barbiere ripeté: "non posso accettare denaro da lei, questa settimana sto facendo servizio alla comunità".

    Molto contento il Membro del Parlamento se ne andò.

    La mattina successiva, quando il barbiere andò ad aprire il negozio, trovò una dozzina di Parlamentari in fila per il taglio dei capelli.
