As part of its customer racing programme, BMW Motorsport is offering private teams another attractive car from 2010: the BMW Z4 GT3. This sports car is an impressive addition to the BMW product range and offers drivers and teams the opportunity to compete in international and national championships in accordance with GT3 regulations – such as the FIA GT3 European Championship, International GT Open and the ADAC GT Masters – as well as in 24-hour endurance races. The BMW Z4 GT3 is powered by a four-litre, eight-cylinder engine producing approximately 480 bhp. When it comes to electronics, the private teams can look forward to innovative BMW solutions, which have proven themselves in the BMW M3 GT2: the engine is controlled by the modern ECU 408, while the Power400 control unit is responsible for operating all actuators. The transmission takes place via a sequential, six-speed gearbox. The scope of delivery also includes rims with locking and safety clips, as well as racing ABS and optional air conditioning. The BMW Z4 GT3 in its racing version is available from the second quarter of 2010 at an estimated price of 298,000 Euro (plus VAT). Ancora BMW Motorsport non ha diffuso le foto... e non sappiamo nulla di più del comunicato riguardo alle complete specifiche tecniche. Sarebbe bello vederla ed averla sulle strade normali, ma è un'auto da competizione. Il prezzo poi, 298.000 euro più iva, la rende appunto un'auto da team sportivi
Ma e' ovvio che da corsa costi così scusa eh che discorsi sono ??? avra' dei cerchi in carboceramica, rollbar tutta alleggerita, tutta carbonio magari.. Pero' il motore di certo non costa 100.000 euro, quindi sarebbe fattibilissima da strada al prezzo di 80.000 euro magari che magari non con 480hp ma con i classici 420 dell'M3 !! /emoticons/happy@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20">
Costa decisamente troppo per le mie tasche ... magari a 200 mila euro ci avrei fatto un pensierino Probabilmente non è nemmeno cabrio, ma il tetto è fisso, per ottimizzare il peso ed integrare una gabbia di protezione
Penso anch'io così. Per risparmiare peso anche l'aria condizionata è optional, figuriamoci se ci sono i cinematismi della capote... Una (nuova) Z4 M, ma solo per pista... sicuramente stuzzica l'immaginazione di tutti noi (ma anche di quelli che vorrebbero una Z4 coupè).
