In a german site I've see a guy who has installed the M50 intake manifold on a M52 engine, what do you think about this mod?

M50 and M52 have poor flow pattern. First of all, both have long thin runners for low engine speed performance and this design sacrifices top end power. Shorter runners are the choice for a peaky engine. At above 4000 rpm the M50/52 cause loss of power. We use shorter runner and also thicker. The M50/52 have no heat insulation which cuases timing to be pulled back in stop and go traffic. Teh intake plenum is very small on both of them. Teh volume of the plenum must be increased as we did.
So M50 and M52 are both poor intake manifolds.

And the Schrick intake manifold for the M52 engine?

I do not want to discuss Schrick intake manifold. All I can say is that we have a superior design.

The exhaust manifold is cast iron. Stainless steel has a tendency to crack over time. Stainless steel also expands under heat. Stability under heat is very important.

    The turbocharger kits include:

    The turbocharger kits include:
    - Garrett GT series turbocharger, produced according to DA Motorsport specifications. These turbochargers are not ready on the shelf.
    - Cast iron turbocharger exhaust manifold
    - Exhaust manifold gasket
    - Flange
-Down pipe, stainless steel 304, polished
    - Air to air intercooler core
    - Intercooler piping made out of 304 stainless steel, polished
    - Hoses, clamps, brackets for the intercooler piping
    - Modified software
    - Modified air flow meter
    - Fuel pressure regulator
    - Blow off valve and vacuum lines
    - BMC air filter, air intake pipe aluminium, polished
    And small details

Awesome, do you have some pics of the kit installed? Do I need to add a variable boost controller?

We have many photos but we will not give them untill the OFFICIAL LAUNCH of the turbocharger kits with two BMWs: A Z4 3,0L and a Z3 2,2L are right now being turbocharged. Z3 and Z4's photos, details, dynoe sheets, dyno videos, road videos will be on our webpage in less than 4 weeks. We have chosen Z4 and Z3 as they are very sexy and will be more attractive than the E46. The launch will be very special, press is invited, BMW magazines and Tuning magazines are invited.

Regarding the question of boost controller, no stage 1 kits do not need boost controller and only stage 2 kits need the boost controller.
