Ho letto oggi questa news: Kumho Tire to supply OE tries to BMW 3 series in Germany Kumho Tire will supply its high-performance tires as original equipment (OE) for BMW 3 Series range, the company said in a press release on 1 December. The tire-maker will supply its Ecsta HM KH31 high-performance tires in 225/55R16 size to automaker’s Munich and Regensburg factories in Germany. Ecsta HM KH31 tire provides better handling with improved stability and wet weather traction. Significance: Kumho Tire is focusing on increasing sales of OE products to premium car manufacturers and expects the latest contract with BMW to significantly enhance the company's brand recognition in the international markets. Kumho’s relationship with the BMW Group began in 2012, with the supply deal for the tire-maker's V70A tire in 215/40 ZR17 83W size for OE fitment to the MINI John Cooper Works GP. Kumho Tire has boosted its tire supply in Europe lately. In May this year, Kumho said that it would start supplying OE tires to Audi A1 compact sedan. More recently, in August this year, the Korean tire-maker announced that it would supply its Ecowing Es01 KH27 tire to Volkswagen-Navarra S.A for fitment on the Polo models being manufactured at a plant in Pamplona, Spain. Besides, Kumho has expanded its testing capability in Europe in response to several contacts the company has secured from various automakers. AutoCar Professional reported in August this year Kumho Tire that the tire-maker had expanded its European Technical Centre by establishing an innovative new tire testing facility at Papenburg, in the state of Lower Saxony, Germany. misero tentativo di risparmiare qualche diecina di euro, su macchine il cui costo è spesso intorno ai 30.000 euro; questo equivale anche a ridurre i posti di lavoro in Europa....bravi! tenetevi le gomme e anche..... le macchine
si se questo si riflette sul costo finale dell'auto potrebbe essere anche un passo avanti (ovviamente se Kuhmo elabora un pneumatico studiato per la serie 3) Ma ahime' non so.....
ciao, ho le kuhmo su serie 2 AT......sono da buttare al cesso,a saperlo prima chiedevo di montare le michelin primacy3 quando ho comprato la macchina
salute, prescindendo dalle caratteristiche delle gomme di questo marchio, la scelta si inserisce nel programma "risparmiamo anche un centesimo (e chi se ne frega della qualità e di quello che pensa la clientela , tanto comprano lo stesso!)" lo abbiamo visto anche con altri elementi; motori 3 cilindri, strumentazione risicata( in molti casi niente termometro acqua), eliminazione dei motori aspirati, sterzo con assistenza elettromeccanica, gommatura base risicata; gamma colori non a pagamento ridottissima etc etc , però i prezzi continuano a salire, altro che risparmio per la clientela; provate a confrontare i prezzi p.e. della Mini R56 con quella attuale e noterete le differenze, nonostante i rispami ottenuti sulla meccanica
