Hello BMW friends! Sorry! I don't speak Italian language but I have a special problem and hopefully you can help me!? This year I bought a special edition Z4 35 is mille miglia (number 07 of 99) in Italy (wonderful car!). Everything works easy. I could change the language to german in 5 seconds. The only thing that is a little bit complicate is the voice control. This is only possible to change with a complete software update of the car. This is the point where I have decided to learn the Italian comannds for the voice control. But it is not so easy to find a list with the Italian commands. Now my question: can one of you give me such a list? Normaly you can find it in the manual of the car. Is there a pdf of the Italian manual in this community available? Or can you copy the list for me? This would be very very kind! I do not understand in the moment how to upload pictures for you. Maybe next time! If you have interest (or also some questions): the german Z4 community calls www.roadster.com

Wellcome, I highly recommend a software update , it takes a complete afternoon but worths the wait. And that solution will update a lot of things... In our family we buy bmw since 1972 and we don't see why we have to learn german language, the same whena we bought renault and a Nissan.... if you really want to keep italian language for the voice control (it's a matter of originality) anyway it's up to you...I will take a look to the original manual , at the moment there's no manuals available in the bmw.it site.... regards, Francesco PS:you have stolen another good car from the italian "car park"....just kidding...
Disappointing/sad to see that none of all the Italian Z4 owners on this forum found 3 min to make this recap and/or to make a scan of the user manual page.

But, if you need only the user manual, online with google you may find it easily. I found a lot of times user's manuals on this way. I don't remember the site, but I found a site with all the complete manuals for the z4 e89. Try this way if you don't whant to wait, it's more easy and quick.
I tried to find the file via google but I found only the german and the english version. If you have a link to the italian version it would be perfect...
Ah, excuse me, I red now better your first message. So, may be better for you to call bmw italia and ask a copy of the instructions, that they may send to you via post. I don't know if I have in my instructions this part, because I haven't this option on my car. I'll see and if I have it and it's only few pages i'll send you what you need.
That's weird. Do you have it as factory option or not? Cannot it be that's in any user manual addendum?
In the german general manual of the Z4 e89 is a list of a commands which are possible with the voice control. It's about 5 sides long! You don't have this in your italian manual? Hard to believe! How do you know which commands works? To ask BMW Italia is a good idea. They helped me with the "mille miglia" badges on my car (because the pre-owner have removed them). From this I know that the mille miglia special edition cars have been built in Torino by a special car builder. They have changed the car from a standard silver into the matt silver and from leather into alcantara and some other things.
Wondering if maybe it's an add on flyer they give together with the user manual only when*the functionality is installed.
Recently I asked Bmw Italia some informations about the audio equipment, but no answer till now. Sometimes big structures don't give informations and your request may be will be lost. The best way is not to wait too long and to call often to obtain something.
Z4 mille miglia: Regards from Germany I stil have no answer frim BMW Italia but I will give them this week. We have some italian workers in my factory and they tried to translate my german version. Looks funny... I'll give you informatiin if it works.
Just a little example: I need a spare part, not a usual spare part for my car. I tried many times to obtain a code for the part I need, but the dealer told me it doesn't exist the code as a spare part. I told them that every part of the car may be changed, so I insisted and at the end the result it was that 3 persons searched for it in my presence and now I have what I need. So, insist, insist, insist
