Umh...

Se non sbaglio il cavo per il jb3 é specifico e va comprato da Terry o bisogna modificare uno di quelli commerciali. Se hai fatto tutto ho finito le ipotesi (a parte le solite incompatibilità di sistema operativo e programmi o conflitti hardware).

L'unica a quel punto sarebbe provare con un altro portatile (possibilmente con Windows xp che alla fine é l'os più diffuso).

Il cavo l'ho preso da terry proprio per evitare quello che mi sta succedendo,il pc ha win xp,è uno di quei mini portatili da poche centinaia di euro ma non mi da problemi ne con il bt e ne con il programma della iveco che uso per lavoro...ora rimonto le plastiche e questa notte mediterò....

 

Non è che gli devi indicare la porta usb?

*** These notes are only for first time 2.0 upgrades. If your JB3 already has had the 2.0 firmware loaded on it disregard

steps 3, 8, and 9 ***

1) Download and install the appropriate JB3 cable drivers on your laptop from here:

2) Install the JB3 software by clicking "setup.exe". You may need to also install

the .NET 2.0 framework if not already on your PC. Download that here:

3) Using a chip burner, load the RS232_MMDDYY HEX file to the JB3. This includes firmware that will allow the JB3 to communicate with the cable and software. Without this step, the software will not function.

4) Route the JB3 cable through the ECU grommet to the glove box by lifting out the ECU, or for a more

temporary arrangement connect a USB extension cable and run it inside the door jamb or window.

5) Boot up laptop, plug in JB3 cable, and go to device manager to determine what COM PORT the

JB3 cable has been assigned. Normally you will right click "My Computer", click "Manage",

click "Device Manager", and expand "Ports (COM & LPT)" to see a listing.

6) Launch JB3 software, and enter appropriate COM PORT under "Setup" tab.

7) Go back to the "Logging" tab and then Click "Connect" from the file menu and the software

should connect to the JB3. Start the motor to verify RPM parameter is moving in sync with tachometer.

If the software fails to connect it will say "Failed" under the status box and you will need to try

another COM PORT or troubleshoot.

8) Turn engine off, but leave keys in ignition and ignition on.

9) Test the map loading process by selecting "File", "Load Map". Which will bring up a

prompt box. Surf over to the same RS232_MMDDYY file you burned in step 3 and click open.

The software will run through a serious of prompts and begin loading the map. It will

update the block count as it goes and normally takes around a minute. At the conclusion

of this process it should automatically jump in to logging mode.

9b) If you receive any errors, the map did not load correctly and you will need to try again. First try increasing the "Map Load Delay" field under settings from the default of 3, to 4, 5, or 6. The slower your laptop the larger this value must be. Also sometimes unplugging the USB adapter and plugging it back in can help. If the JB3 box somehow locks up, you will need to disconnect the battery or let the ECU go to sleep to hard boot it.

9c) In the event that a map does not load properly, the JB3 software will go in to boot-load mode,

and the motor will not start until you load the map successfully. If all else fails put the 1.4 chip

back in and regroup.

10) Assuming map loaded properly and logging appears to be functioning, you may button up

ECU area.

11) If you are using a 1.7.x.x version of BT software be sure to update to the newest 1.7.4.4 or higher.

Refer to the notes released with each map for further details and directions.

Sì l'interfaccia funziona solo con la 2.0 :wink:................credevo avessi già il chip della 2.0. Allora è normale che non funzioni credo

 

E io non lo sapevo....cercasi chipburner disperatamente,qualcuno me lo può prestare(pagherei io spedizione andata e ritorno) o vendere?si trova in commercio anche in Italia o solo da terry?

Ciao, se vuoi ti scrivo io le nuove mappe (ho anche dei chip aggiuntivi che posso darti direttamente, senza che mi spedisci il tuo... come ti trovi meglio) o se preferisci ti vendo il chip burner.

tralaltro oggi pomeriggio dovrei finalmente avere tempo di mettere la 2.0...sono solo deciso se usare la 0217 o andare con la nuova beta a mio rischio e pericolo.....

và beh che tanto ora col pc in 5 secondi si cambiano i firmware....

forse c'è un mio amico che smanetta con modifiche xbox,ps3 e aggeggi elettronici vari che dovrebbe avere un programmatore e me lo farebbe lui domani,se non dovesse andare bene mi dici quanto vuoi di un chip che te lo compro,non riuscirei più a stare senza jb3(ieri l'ho staccato e riattaccato e probabilmente è tornato a mappa 3 o 1 e non lo sapevo,alla prima gasata ho detto:e che caz..o ha?non va più una mazza,poi ci ho pensato e mi sono fermato a meppere la 5,non mi ricordavo della differenza abissale di prestazioni)

Info da chi monta il jb3.......................

ho tolto il chip della 1.4 e messo quello della 2.0 (l'ho riiscritta,non si sà mai )..................installato il tutto e messo in moto da che mappa parte dalla map3 o parte direttamente dalla map 0 ?????????????

Nel caso volessi tornare alla mappa zero(stock) è sufficiente tenere premuto per più di 5sec il pedale dell'acceleratore giusto?

 

parte dalla 3 mi sembra. Spingi pedale giu 5 sec per azzerare sulla 0 e poi spingi giu 3 volte.
