e il problema qual è? interponendo sulla lina dati un pc con la seriale in "sniffing" si puo registrare tutto il traffico dati. da li la strada x ricreare le istruzioni date dal modic e emularle anche sotto windozz non è impossibile.

il mezzo non conta, sono i bit giusti il cuore del sistema

 

mi ma il modic non manda dati in seriale ma dati via wireless con l'altro pezzo collegato alla'auto e spero che non ci siano codici key per l'autenticazione wireless di tale comunicazione, alchè anche mettendo un dispositivo esterno collegato alla presa obd non è detto che venga autenticato dal modic, queste sono mie supposizioni in quanto non ho i prodotti dal vivo per poterli studiare
comunque tentar non nuoce :wink:

 

volevo dire che posson mandarli anche via satellite e criptati con enigma da un sottomarino teddesko ma i bit di comunicazione devono x forza passare x la spina che cè in auto. li, parlando rozzamente, ci si "frega" il segnale che passa e si analizzano i bit x ricreare la stessa comunicazione

collegare il modic al pc e veder cosa arriva potrebbe esser ugualmente interessante ma molto probabilmente dopo i primi bit aspetta una risposta che non arriva . xo è sempre un inizio

sono abbastanza sicuro che programmi come vag-com e carsoft sono stati creati cosi , intercettando il segnale e ricreando le comunicazioni
( e al 101 % sicuro su programmi diagnosi subaru che usano lo stesso protocollo proprietario chiamato SSM)

 

si quello che dici tu non fà una piega, basta trovare il metodo di comunicazione e si trova la soluzione, certo l'operazione non è semplicissima, ma nulla è impossibile

 

Potrei provarci, magari se ci si mette d'accordo possiamo fare delle prove.

domanda: ammesso che con il tempo si riesca a ricreare un clone del modic che gira sotto winzozz o qualcos altro... che funzioni interessanti ha questo modic che potremmo aver poi tutti?

YES it is possible to load sss software into any pc, but... first and most important is crack encrypted exe file which is named "instctrl" (install control) when you decrypt it you must decompile and change "jump table" to skip veryfy hardware. Next you must turn on autodetect in win xp embedded.

sembra che modic sss e gt1 si possan installare ovunque, è un alternativa SE con una banalissima interfaccia lo si potrebbe far comunicare.

Ma scusate l'apparecchio in questione è già una specie di computer portatile, con tanto di lettore CD o DVD (se ho capito bene) per installare gli aggiornamenti del programma di gestione, quindi al suo interno dovrebbe contenere una memoria (tipo hard disk) dove va ad immaganizzare l'aggiornamento + i dati ed un processore che grazie ad un sistema operativo fa funzionare il programma che permette la comunicazione ed elabora gli stessi dati.
Quindi sarà anche possibile che dentro l'apparecchio il programma risieda in questo supporto di memoria. Se si potesse capire il sistema operativo usato dal dispositivo magari, chi lo sa, sarà possibile collegarlo al PC e copiare il contenuto del supporto di memoria estrapolando anche il programma di gestione già bello e pronto.

no assolutamente, nel mio post sopra c è il link ad una discussione dove han fatto una cosa simile, son partiti dai cd di aggiornamento, li han modificati e installato il tutto su un portatile (modificato pure quello nel hardware)

Sarebbe un inizio, tentare non costa nulla, poi come hai detto tu basterebbe l'interfaccia giusta per farlo comunicare con la centralina dell'auto.....e per questo può tentare Maurinax partendo da quella di Bob65 (se la trova)!:wink:

 

mhh circa, pur riuscendo a far funzionare il programma originale su un altro PC... se il modic vuole per forza mandare i dati via wireless e non via porta seriale, penso non sia per niente facile fargli cambiare idea. a meno che non si sia il modic non wireless

 

comunque hai fatto un bel colpo... un aggeggio del genere ha un prezzo decisamente alto se "ipotizziamo" lo vendessero non vorrei dirti un cacchiata ma mi sembra che il modello che hanno attualmente le grandi concessionarie (che e' un cervellone alto circa un metro e mezzo e con schermi lcd) costa sui 150 mila...
quindi tienilo di conto..

le cose che puoi farci sono: TUTTE..
dalla riprogrammazione di tutte le centraline alla diagnostica totale alla visualizzazione del DIS e degli schemi elettrici..
in piu' il Modic funziona propriamente solo con quel tipo di computer fornito dalla siemens su un ambiente unix..

mi ero scaricato via torrent una versione completa (la 22 mi sembra)
ma ho lasciato stare per i suddetti motivi..

pero' ti posso assicurare che funziona anche senza wifi (dovrebbe esserci un connettore rs323 da qualche parte)

 

il modic lo "vendono" sui 12k euro :-D l altro aggeggio la fan pagare carissimo come tutti i stumenti ufficiali di diagnosi x creare un "elite" di officine meccaniche autorizzate, e l elettrauto sottocasa amico non puo permettersi queste spese ed è tagliato fuori...
cmq l han fatto girare su un portatile ibm thinkpad che se ricordo bene è un 800Mhz... anzi copio una cosuccia carina :

Tips:
when startting dis for the first time it asked for 'händler nr.' enter
whatever you want , just write it down it will be needed for installing
dis programms !
there are some newer vga drivers on ftp://ftp.sco.com/pub/openserver5/drivers/OSR500-OSR502
to install these newer drivers you need AHS5.2 which you prolly cant get.If your lucky
you might d/l vidconf.tar (only the vidconf part of AHS5.2)
you can download Skunkware2000.iso with contains many programms like midnight commander.

DISplus Software Loading Instructions
The DISplus software was loaded at the time of updating. These instructions are supplied in the event that
reloading becomes necessary. All loading is done with CD23 (or newer) already delivered to BMW centers.
1. Start with the DISplus power turned off.
2. Insert the white floppy labeled "Base Installation DISplus/C1" in the floppy drive. Some DISplus kits may
have been delivered with a blue floppy disk. Do not use this floppy at any time during the loading process.
3. Turn the DISplus on using the power button on the front of the machine.
4. After a short time the message "ESC for post screen" will be displayed. Ignore this message.
5. Data from the white floppy will now be loaded. The green drive light will flash.
6. Insert the DISplus base CD when the message "Please insert the DISplus base CD in DVD drive" is displayed.
7. Remove the white floppy and insert the red floppy labeled "Installation DISplus" when the message "Please
insert floppy DISplus Installation" is displayed.
8. Press Enter.
9. Remainder of Base installation is automatic and takes about 1 hour.
10. During the Base system loading the red floppy can be removed anytime after the message "You can remove the
Base system floppy now" is displayed. The floppy must be removed before the DISplus is restarted.
11. Upon completion of the Base system installation process, the message "System Halted" is displayed. At this
point the floppy and the base system CD must be removed. After removal shut off the DISplus by pressing the power switch on the front cover.
12. Turn the DISplus on again by pressing the power switch on the front cover.
13. The next steps are as before (with the DIS). Select the language, country, DIS # (only use a 5 digit code), center name and address.
14. When completed select "End" and "Quit". Do not back arrow or you will lose all information you have just input.
15. Now the usual DIS start menu will appear. Select "Administration".
16. Insert the version 23 Programs CD into the CD drive.
17. Activate the drive and select "DIS Installation". Installation happens as with all prior software versions.
"Deactivate" the CD drive and remove the program CD.
18. Insert version 23 "Update CD" and "activate" the drive.
19. Select "DIS, Update".
20. Enter center code then select "OK" and "OK". Updating takes about 15 seconds.
21. "Deactivate" the CD drive and remove the update CD.
22. When finished TIS can be loaded in the usual manner. The TIS CD must remain in the drive in order for it to
operate. If TIS is selected and the CD is not in the drive error code 32 and 2 will be displayed.

io Nemis ho sia un portatile IBM T22 che la mia interfaccia seriale oltre al software DIS v.33 completo, chissà si potrebbe creare qualcosa non wireless, però bisognerebbe sapere il driver o la porta da configurare per tale opzione rs232

io un t21 e un k-line usata prima su audi a4, poi sul subaru ;-)

cmq scrivevo di loggare il traffico dati adl vero modic x il motivo che se nel cavo cè qualche "cavolata" (chip tipo il cavo del carsoft) è un bel casino. se il cavo è liscio liscio il sistema operativo Sco non lo conosco ma non mi sembra lontano dal linux, forse smanettando qua e la si puo arrivar a far uscire i dati dalla 232. metto l asinello in dl del dis intanto

no io ho solo il software dis ma non l'ho installato sul mio ibm, comunque la mia interfaccia è liscia senza chip interni di riconoscimento, il dis funziona anche su e90 che su serie 1 e60 ecc. oltre ai modelli vecchi di bmw

 

ottimo direi, può essere che si possa trovare la password di aministrazione, comunque dovrei controllare se ho quei 2 floppy, attendiamo le foto e vediamo di metterlo in operatività

 

ottimo, il traffico andrebbe preso alla fine dei cavi, dalla spina in macchina. perchè se nell interfaccia wireless cè qualche chip i dati son altrerati.
